 | North Carolina joins IRS Direct File in 2025 Gov. Roy Cooper recently announced North Carolina will be joining IRS Direct file in 2025, removing unnecessary hurdles and fees for more than 1.5 million taxpayers in the state. North Carolina taxpayers are expected to save more than 600 million dollars annually in fees, time, and tax credits. MDC facilitates the NC Tax Credit Coalition, which has advocated for the Department of Revenue and Gov. Cooper to pursue Direct File. Read More → |
